To all present, and to all eyes who see, Greetings!

Bearing now in these pages a CONSTITUTION of governance and law cast upon by inheritance and virtue all NationStates composing the region CAPITALIST PARADISE

Rights of Sovereignty
No Nation shall be trod upon, assets seized or searched or inspected by any governing authority
No nation shall be given unto slavery or servitude
No nation shall be judged or reprimanded or expelled for its choice of religion or lack thereof
No nation shall be judged or reprimanded or expelled for its NationStates political category
No nation shall be judged or reprimanded or expelled for its Racial predominance
No nation shall be required to provide personnel or material military support to Capitalist Paradise
and others to be brought by amendment

Inherent Rights of Membership
To be heard by the Arbiter in intra-regional disputes
To be represented by the Arbiter in civil and criminal cause, and investigation and trial
To vie and compete for placement in Capitalist Paradise government
To respectfully post in the forums and message board
To bring for consideration in the Legislature any issue of timely relevance
To have a vote in the Legislature
To receive full military assistance in event of extra-regional attack
and others to be brought by amendment

Code of Fiscal Conduct
No nation shall monopolize any industry
All internation highways shall be maintained and open for inter-regional commerce
No member nation shall embargo any other member nation
All contracts shall be executed in good faith
Black markets are legitimate markets in the eyes regional authority

The governing body of Capitalist Paradise shall consist of four general offices:
The Executive
The Legislative
The Judicial
The Common Defense
-And additional offices created as needed


The Executive:
WA Delegate & CEO
This position is elected by majority votes of confidence as indicated by World Assembly members, as is the nature of our game. Duties include but are not limited to:
Enforcement and defense of this Constitution and the common defense of Capitalist Paradise
Representing our region to the World Assembly
Appointing Cabinet members
Final executor of regional membership
Commander in Chief of Allied Forces

Vice Delegate and President
This position is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the WA Delegate. This Cabinet member must be a member of the WA, and rank high in regional WA endorsements. Duties include but are not limited to:
Appointment of Ambassadorships
Serves in the capacity of CEO in the absence of the CEO
Enforcement and defense of this Constitution and the common defense of Capitalist Paradise
General management of extraregional affairs
Oversees recruitment and retention efforts

Minister of the Interior
This position is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the CEO. Duties include but are not limited to:
General management of intraregional affairs
Delegates duties relevant to regional security

Minister of History and Forums
This position, due to the technical nature of duties is appointed for life or retirement, This officer will name his own successor.
Duties are: Establish and maintain the forum
Monitor the forums and message board for abuse
Chronicle significant events in Capitalist Paradise history

The Legislative:
President of the Legislature:
The original POL is appointed to serve a period of 90 days commencing 12 August 2009. After this term the office is open to challenge by any Capitalist Paradise member nation; by popular vote; by the legislature, vote to be counted by the President; to serve for a term not less than 90 days. Duties include but are not limited to:
Presentation of issues
Tally of votes
Presentation of vote results to the CEO for ratification into law
Enforcement and defense of this Constitution and the common defense of Capitalist Paradise

The Legislature:
The full body of Capitalist Paradise member nations. Duties are:
Voting issues as presented
Enforcement and defense of this Constitution and the common defense of Capitalist Paradise

The Judiciary:
A three judge panel nominated by the President and confirmed by majority vote by the legislature, seated by the CEO.
Appointment is for life or retirement. Duties are:
Enforcement and defense of this Constitution
Resolve civil disputes among member nations if and after all reasonable efforts of the Advocate have been exhausted
Resolve criminal complaints
Refer guilty parties to the CEO for ejection, banning or banning and ejection from the region if warranted; in the opinion of the panel

Prosecutor
Appointed by the President on a case by case basis. Duties are as the title describes

Advocate and Arbiter General
Appointed by the CEO to serve a term of 90 days commencing 12 August 2009. After this term the office is open to challenge by any Capitalist Paradise member nation; by popular vote; by the legislature: confirmed and seated by the President of the Legislature; to serve a term of not less than 90 days. Duties are:
Vigorously represent defendants in all criminal cases
Resolve civil disputes among member nations
Provide final defense appeal to the CEO in capital cases

The Common Defense
Marshall of Allied Forces
Appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the CEO. Duties are:
Muster, train and provide a competent military force drawn from volunteer member nations
Commission military officers
In event of war, crush, humiliate and conquer any invading armies on Capitalist Paradises' member nations soil
In event of intraregional war, this office is nuetral
